Dragonglass Cocktail with Obsidian Stout

Ingredients

2 12 oz Obsidian Stout ales you can look for a similar flavor profile stout, but we enthusiastically recommend the Deschutes Brewery creation
3 fl oz whiskey your choice
1 pear thinly sliced
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the bruleed pear garnish first.
Place thin slices of pear onto a fireproof surface, sprinkle top surface with sugar and using a blow torch caramelize the sugar. If you do not have a blow torch place under a broiler until the sugar begins to caramelize.
Skewer bruleed pear slices and set aside.
In a tall stemmed glass place a couple of ice cubes.
Pour a shot (1.5 fl oz) of whiskey.
Top glass with Obsidian Stout.
Garnish with bruleed pear skewer.
