4baguette pieces5 inch long, sliced lengthwise, lightly toasted or grilled

1teaspoonsesame oilor to taste
2teaspoonsesame seeds
½English cucumbersliced
⅓cupHoisin sauce
1tablespoonchopped chives
Instructions
BBQ PORK BELLY SANDWICH
Top 4 slices of sourdough bread with coleslaw.
Layer with pork belly slices (3 per sandwich).
Brush with BBQ sauce.
Place the other 4 slices of sourdough bread on top and secure each side with food picks.
Slice the sandwiches in the middle. Stack on top of each other and serve.
ASIAN PORK BELLY SANDWICH
Toss the carrot shavings with the sesame oil, rice vinegar and sesame seeds.
Take the 8 halves of baguette and lay them down face up. Top with a bit of the dressed carrot shavings.
On four of the halves layer cucumber slices** to cover the whole length, right on top of the carrots.
Top with pork belly slices, then brush with Hoisin sauce. Garnish with a bit of chives.
Unite the carrots only halves with the pork belly halves. Enjoy!

*We find that the best pork belly for sandwiches is one that is cooked to perfect tenderness, sliced and then seared to create an appetizing crust. You can prepare smoked pork belly or grilled pork belly, or braised pork belly. If you slow cook skin-on pork belly in the oven or fry pork belly you can make crispy pork belly sandwiches.
